DataLotto

Legal notice, privacy and cookies

DataLotto legal information: who makes it, what data it processes and how.

Privacy policy

1. Data controller

Roberto Ruiz, owner of DataLotto, resident in Spain. Contact: [email protected]

This policy complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).

2. What data is processed and why

DataLotto is designed so that almost everything stays on your device.

2.1 Data that stays only on your device. Your tickets and their history, your saved filters, language and theme, the copy of the draw histories and the app files needed to use it offline. Also the record that you accepted the terms of use, with a code generated on your device. None of this is sent to the owner or to third parties.

2.2 Usage statistics without identifiers. When you save or check a ticket, the app sends DataLotto's server data such as: game, bet type, number of combinations, matches obtained, draw date and numbers marked as favourites. It is stored in a spreadsheet owned by the owner (Google Sheets). It does not include any user or device identifier, and is only used to understand how the app is used overall.

2.3 Contact form. If you write to the owner from the app, your message and, if you provide it, your email address are sent. They reach the owner as a Telegram message and are used only to reply to you.

2.4 Internal prize alerts. When a checked ticket wins a significant prize, the owner receives a Telegram alert with the game, bet type and matches, without any data identifying who played it.

2.5 Technical connection data. As with any website, your IP address and basic browser data reach the providers that serve the app: Cloudflare (the website) and Google (the server and the spreadsheets with the draw results). DataLotto's server keeps the IP only in memory and for a few minutes, to prevent abusive submissions; it does not store it or link it to any other data. Visits are measured with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies or identify visitors.

2.6 Advertising. DataLotto does not currently show advertising. If it is enabled in the future, your consent will be requested first and this policy will be updated with full details.

3. Legal basis

ProcessingLegal basis
Data on your device (2.1)Necessary to provide the service you request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
Statistics without identifiers (2.2) and internal alerts (2.4)Legitimate interest in improving the app, with minimised data (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
Contact form (2.3)Your consent when you send it (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Technical data and security (2.5)Legitimate interest in serving the website securely (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)

4. Recipients and transfers

Data is only shared with the providers that run the app: Cloudflare, Inc. (website hosting and visit measurement), Google (server, Google Sheets and Apps Script) and Telegram (receiving contact messages and alerts). Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case they do so with the safeguards provided for in the GDPR, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.

The owner does not sell or share your data with third parties.

5. Retention

6. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to [email protected]. As most data stays only on your device or does not identify you, you can often exercise them yourself by deleting the app's data.

If you believe your rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or with the data protection authority of your country.

7. Minors

DataLotto is intended exclusively for people aged 18 or over and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Security

All of the app's communications are encrypted (HTTPS). Even so, no system is infallible: do not include sensitive information in the contact form that is not necessary.

9. Changes

This policy will be updated when the app or the law changes. Significant changes will be announced within the app.

Cookie policy

1. What they are

Cookies and similar technologies are small pieces of data that a website stores on your device. Spanish law (Art. 22.2 LSSI-CE) treats the browser's local storage and web app caches in the same way, so they are also explained here.

2. What DataLotto uses

DataLotto does not use its own or third-party cookies. It only stores on your device technical data that is essential for it to work. According to the guidance of the Spanish Data Protection Agency, this type of storage is exempt from consent.

None of this data is used for profiling or shared with advertisers. Visit measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) works without cookies.

3. Advertising in the future

If advertising is enabled, advertisers' cookies or identifiers will be added. Before that happens, you will see a consent notice with equally visible Accept and Reject buttons and the option to configure each purpose. This policy will then be updated with the full list.

4. How to delete this data

You can delete it at any time from your browser settings ("Clear site data" for data-lotto.com) or by uninstalling the app. Please note that you will lose your saved tickets and filters and will have to accept the terms of use again.
